Management Team

Who We Are

The InVivoLink team of healthcare software and services experts has decades of in-depth, hands-on healthcare industry experience. We are former hospital staff, implant distributor sales reps, supply chain technology experts, and healthcare software developers. We have worked in operating rooms, in hospitals, and for device companies. Because of our experience, we understand the details that make a solution work for the unique needs of our diverse set of constituents. We know what it takes to drive adoption for a physician or an OR nurse.  We know the importance of integration to external systems.

We are all bound by our desire to see change. We believe that real change will come as a result of implementing systems that create alignment and trust. We only hire those who share our passion.

Ryan Wells, InVivoLink Founder, CEO, and Chairman of the Board
Ryan founded InVivoLink after spending 13 years with DePuy Orthopaedics, a Johnson & Johnson Company. Ryan’s deep knowledge of the implant ecosystem and his well-established relationships with its constituents drive InVivoLink’s mission and strategy. Talk to Ryan for five minutes and you’ll be a believer: There is a better way. His passion for improving how implants are managed makes Ryan and InVivoLink powerful forces for change. Ryan graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.A. in anthropology. An avid outdoorsman and traveler, whether tracing Sir Edmund Hillary’s first climb in New Zealand or assisting medical missions in Ethiopia, Ryan credits life experiences as the driver behind creating unique solutions.

As COO, John is responsible for making sure InVivoLink executes well. He focuses on finding and making the most of technology and people that can advance IVL’s ability to solve business and communication problems for clients. John spent 10 valuable years at Global Healthcare Exchange, where he learned about the business of Web-based, collaborative software and “the network effect” from the ground-up. Most recently, John was COO and vice president of accounts at Titan Management Group. He also spent four years at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was able to get an insider’s perspective on the workings of the OR and the research hospital. John earned his degree in chemistry at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Outside work, he spends as much time as he can with his wife and three daughters. He occasionally still gets in a good trail run in the Warner Parks and daydreams of his next trip climbing in the mountains of Colorado or California.
